Kenneth St:
Art Mina's latest brand, "Kenneth St," came into existence in 2015. Mina Wilcox is proud of her son Kenneth's artistic talents, so she began printing his drawings. We ordered my son to draw this cute picture for our pop-up event at the storytelling festivals in Ojai! Enjoy his drawing!

Flour Sack Towels - Then and Now
From the 1850s to the 1950s, everything from flour, sugar, chicken feed, sausage, and even voting ballots was packaged in tightly woven cotton bags known as 'FLOUR SACKS.' Thrifty housewives would wash and bleach the sacks, then cut and sew them into underwear, pillowcases, toys, dresses, and, most commonly, kitchen towels. These towels are highly absorbent and lint-free, and their popularity has been passed down from mother to daughter. Today, in the United States, they are known as nostalgic towels used by grandmothers.

Thanks for taking a look at our Art Mina shop! Please feel free to contact us if you have a question. We love that this Flour Sack Towel becomes a part of your happy life!
